The Europe Triathlon Cup in Torremolinos (Spain) marked the next stop in the European racing calendar following the Portuguese leg, once again attracting a competitive international field. Due to adverse weather conditions, the race was held in a duathlon format, adding a layer of tactical unpredictability and placing greater emphasis on running performance. Ukraine was represented in the elite women’s race and the junior categories.

Eva Soroka delivered one of the standout performances among the Ukrainians. She was just two seconds behind the leader after the opening run and entered T1 as part of the front group. However, a crash on the bike forced her into the chase packs. Showing resilience, Soroka fought back on the final run to finish 29th, earning 33 World Ranking points and moving up to 448th place globally.

Daryna Moskalenko also worked within the lead group early in the race, but posted the 49th run split, ultimately finishing 45th. She collected 9 World Ranking points and now sits 307th in the rankings.
