Ukrainian Triathlon Aquathlon Cup in Khmelnytskyi

From February 27 to March 1, the city of Khmelnytskyi hosted the Ukrainian Triathlon Cup in aquathlon, bringing together young athletes from across the country. Competitors took to the start line in age categories ranging from Group “A” to the youngest Group “E.” As in previous national events, the strongest competition came from the three main youth triathlon development centers of Ukraine — Odesa, Lviv, and Zhytomyr regions — whose athletes secured the majority of podium positions. Aquathlon, combining swimming and running, continues to play an essential role in developing young triathletes and preparing the next generation of athletes for the demands of the sport.
In the girls’ race, victory went to Valeriia Lukianenko (Odesa region), who recorded the fastest combined time over 0.4 kilometers of swimming and 2 kilometers of running, finishing in 13:18.96.
Arina Hryban (Zhytomyr region) claimed the silver medal, while Yelyzaveta Sytnyk secured the bronze.

In the boys’ competition, Mykola Domoshchei (Odesa region) delivered the winning performance with a finishing time of 11:20.39.
Ihor Kyrylovych (Zhytomyr region) placed second, and Danyil Uminskyi completed the podium in third place.

The boys’ race in this category remained undecided until the final meters of the run. Dmytro Kardash (Lviv region) ultimately secured the victory. His teammate Dmytro Lavryk took second place, while Yaroslav Yunusov (Zhytomyr region) finished third.

Among the girls, Alisa Klyosova (Odesa region) produced the most balanced performance across both disciplines to take the win.
Mariia Puchak (Lviv region) earned the silver medal, and Anna Yehorova (Zhytomyr region) claimed bronze.

In the girls’ event, Oleksandra Poddubna (Odesa region) claimed the victory.
Alisa Bohdanova (Odesa region) finished second, while Yeva Afanasieva (Cherkasy region) secured third place.

The boys’ race was won by Mykola Khadzhyohlo (Odesa region).
Artem Tupalo (Odesa region) took second place, and Mykhailo Bozhko (Zhytomyr region) finished third.

In the girls’ category, Kateryna Zherukha (Lviv region) stood on the top step of the podium.
Her teammate Alisa Andriiets earned silver, while Margarita Sviatokum (Odesa region) took bronze.

Among the boys, the victory went to Myron Istomin (Odesa region).
Dominik Panteleiev finished second, and Myron Andrushchenko secured third place.

In the youngest category, the girls’ race was won by Vlada Kolesnyk (Zhytomyr region).
Daniela Bozhko claimed silver, and Varvara Dusheiko (Cherkasy region) finished third.

In the boys’ event, Yakiv Dondov (Odesa region) took the victory.
Onufrii Kuzmenko earned the silver medal, while Yehor Lomakovskyi completed the podium with bronze.
