From May 31 to June 1, the city of Lviv hosted the 2025 Ukrainian Super Sprint Triathlon Championships at its now traditional venue — the stunning Emily Resort in Vynnyky.
This year marked a new chapter, as the event was staged under the updated Ukrainian Olympic Sports Classification Standards. For the first time, the championships welcomed not only elite athletes, U23, and juniors, but also youth athletes in categories “A” (formerly Youth) and “B” (formerly Cadets). The “B” category race was also counted as a Ukrainian Cup stage.
All competitors faced a fast and furious format: 300 m swim, 8 km bike, and 2 km run. Titles were awarded in the overall, U23, junior, and youth “A” categories.
Men’s Race
The swim was led by Kyiv’s Oleksii Astafiev Kulish and Zaporizhzhia’s Sergey Kostenko. On the bike, Donetsk’s Ivan Shevchenko bridged up to the leaders — this trio would go on to contest the podium.
