On August 9–10, Romania’s Izvorani hosted the Europe Triathlon Junior Cup over the lightning-fast supersprint distance. Team Ukraine fielded a strong squad: Fedir Bezlepkin, Zakhar Tsivkovskyi, Arsen Adamov, Matvii Malysh, Hlib Yakubets, and Kyryl Levytskyi on the men’s side, with Maria Ivashchenko, Amina Marchenko, and Anna Koroiaieva flying the flag in the women’s field.

In the men’s individual race, Tsivkovskyi claimed 22nd, Adamov 30th, and Malysh 35th. For the women, Marchenko crossed the line in 21st. Every placing brought valuable points to the Junior Rankings. Other Ukrainian finishes: Bezlepkin 35th, Yakubets 60th, Levytskyi 67th; Ivashchenko 26th and Korotiaieva 33rd.

Relay drama the next day: Marchenko (25:43) opened the mixed relay, before handing off to Tsivkovskyi (22:31) and Ivashchenko (26:48). Adamov anchored with a 22:56 split, bringing Ukraine home in fifth — worth 293 points to the National Federations standings. Bezlepkin, racing for “Europe III,” clocked 22:23 on the second leg.

The Izvorani weekend left Ukraine with four men and four women inside the Junior Rankings. Marchenko made her debut at 122nd. The national federation standings are calculated by combining the points of each country’s top three men and women from the individual rankings with their mixed relay results.

Ukrainian leaders in the rankings:

Zakhar Tsivkovskyi — 191 points, Eva Soroka — 342 points

Fedir Bezlepkin — 187 points, Maria Ivashchenko — 183 points

Arsen Adamov — 179 points, Dana Soroka — 114 points

Matvii Malysh — 84 points, Amina Marchenko — 84 points

Ukraine holds 18th place among 34 European nations with a total of 1,782 points — boosted by relay results from both Chișinău and Izvorani.
